Shawlography is a beautiful colorwork shawl designed as a mystery knit-along by Stephen West. The pattern utilises Stephen's signature blend of unexpected combinations of textures, colors and patterns. Knit top-down, this crescent-shaped shawl incorporates many techniques, including short rows, bobbles, stripes, slipped stitches, and more!
This shawl knits up beautifully in our soft, eco-friendly Amble. Images show the sample originally knit in Canopy Fingering, but this kit includes our Amble yarn, another great fingering-weight yarn! Amble is a conscious blend of eco-friendly washable wool and alpaca for comfort and recycled nylon for added strength.

The Fibre Co. (70% Easy-wash Merino wool, 20% Easy-wash alpaca, 10% recycled nylon, 325 m (355 yd) per 100 g hank) – 5 hanks (one hank per color).

Photographs show the shawl in the shades Quetzal, Macaw, Fern, Manatee and Bluestars of Canopy Fingering, however, this kit includes a different fingering-weight yarn, Amble.
